Women's Basketball Announces 2020-21 Schedule

Minutewomen begin upcoming campaign at Bryant on Wed., Nov. 25
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts women's basketball announced the 2020-21 slate on Thursday in conjunction with the Atlantic 10 Conference's league-wide schedule announcement. The Minutewomen begin their season with a trip to Bryant on Wed., Nov. 25 while the team's first home game awaits on Sun., Dec. 13 against St. John's.

In addition to Bryant and St. John's, Massachusetts squares off with UMass Lowell (Nov. 28) and New Hampshire (Dec. 10) during the current non-conference slate.
Any updates to the team's 2020-21 schedule, including tip-off times, will be announced on UMassAthletics.com and through the UMass women's basketball social media pages.
Atlantic 10 play begins on Mon., Dec. 28 with a game at the Mullins Center against regional rival Rhode Island. The Minutewomen will also host Davidson (Jan. 8), Fordham (Jan. 10), Saint Joseph's (Jan. 29), La Salle (Jan. 31), George Washington (Feb. 5), George Mason (Feb. 7), VCU (Feb. 26) and Richmond (Feb. 28).
Massachusetts will also complete nine Atlantic 10 road games during the 2020-21 season. Following the A-10 opener at home against Rhode Island, the Minutewomen make their first A-10 road trip to Philadelphia for contests at Saint Joseph's (Jan. 1) and La Salle (Jan. 3). UMass also treks to Richmond for games at VCU (Jan. 15) and the University of Richmond (Jan. 17) before games at Dayton (Jan. 22) and Saint Louis (Jan. 24).
The Minutewomen cap the travel portion of their A-10 slate with a three-game road trip to Rhode Island (Feb. 14), St. Bonaventure (Feb. 18) and Duquesne (Feb. 20).
The 2021 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship will be hosted by VCU, March 3-7, 2021 at the Siegel Center in Richmond, Va. The early rounds of the championship will be available live on ESPN+, while the semifinals games will air on CBS Sports Network. ESPNU will air the A-10 Championship final, marking the 24th straight year an ESPN network has televised the league's title game.
National, regional and local television coverage will be announced at a later date. All games not carried as part of the A-10's national television package will be streamed through the Atlantic 10's partnership with ESPN+.
Atlantic 10 institutions reside in states that comprise 33.3 million television households, approximately 30 percent of the total national media market. There are eight A-10 institutions in or adjacent to the top 25 media markets in the country, and all 14 A-10 institutions are located in or adjacent to the top 65 media markets.
