Home Again
UMass returns home for their first meet in its home pool since taking on BU back on Nov. 2. Fordham leads the all-time series 14-9 with the first meeting happening during the 1995-96 season with the Minutewomen last defeating the Rams 164-135 to wrap up the 2013-14 regular season at home.
Senior Day
The Minutewomen will honor their six seniors prior to tomorrow's meet against the Rams at approximately 12:45 p.m. at the Joseph R. Rogers, Jr. Pool.
In The Pool And In The Classroom
UMass was named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team for the seventh straight semester after posting a team GPA of 3.45 in the fall. The Minutewomen had 14 student-athletes make the Dean's List with a 3.5 GPA or better while five reached a perfect 4.0.
Weekly Honors
Maja Boric was tabbed the Atlantic 10 Performer of the Week on Tuesday after winning both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter dives on Saturday at Dartmouth. Boric's win in the 1-Meter Dive marked her ninth straight to start the season while the senior has claimed the top-spot in 17-of-18 events on the year.
Championship Approaching
The Minutewomen will break from action for the next 17 days following the meet this weekend before opening up the Atlantic 10 Championships on Wednesday, Feb. 19 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio. UMass finished 5th at the league meet a year ago with 333 points and set a new program record in the 200 Free Relay.
