UMass women's soccer, fresh off a dramatic 3-3 draw with No. 21 Tennessee, will open up its Atlantic 10 schedule this Sunday, Sept. 22, when the squad will play host to Richmond at 1 p.m. on Rudd Field. The Minutewomen finished their non-league slate at 3-2-2 and are 1-0-1 at Rudd thus far. Freshman Melissa Kössler leads UMass in scoring with 11 points in six matches on five goals and an assist, while sophomore Lauren Bonavita follows with nine points (4g, 1a) in six matches. Kössler is the reigning Atlantic 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season as the Minutewomen have scooped up a share of the award in each of the past three weeks.
