Nisenfeld Earns Top Drawer Soccer Honorable Mention Accolades

Leah Nisenfeld recorded two shutouts as the Minutewomen went 2-0 on the week.
LONG BEACH, Calif. – Junior goalkeeper Leah Nisenfeld landed on the women's soccer Top Drawer Soccer Honorable Mention Team of the Week list, presented by Soccer Management Company.
Nisenfeld played a significant role in Massachusetts' 2-0 week, as the team won 1-0 at Ball State and 2-0 at Ohio. Nisenfeld played 180 minutes between the posts for UMass and registered nine saves and did not allow a goal to be scored for her second and third straight shutouts. At Ball State, the Reno, Nevada, native, made two saves, not allowing a goal. She stopped seven shots faced and did not allow a goal at Ohio.
With the two clean sheets, Nisenfeld recorded her third and fourth shutouts of the season, and 10th and 11th of her career.
The University of Massachusetts women's soccer team hosts Kent State on Saturday, September 26, at 12 p.m. at Rudd Field. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.
