Coming off a hard-fought 2-1 loss at Boston College in the season opener on Thursday, the Minutewomen will play their second of three straight on the road when they head to Providence for another evening matchup this Sunday at 6 p.m. A pair of newcomers connected for UMass' lone tally of the contest at BC with Melissa Kossler scoring off the bench in her debut with an assist from Ansley Frazier. Kossler and Frazier were among a group of six individuals who made their UMass debuts on Thursday with four earning starts. The Minutewomen are 6-5-2 all-time against Providence, most recently facing the Friars in 2016, a 3-0 loss at Providence.
