Atlantic 10 Conference Announces Women’s Basketball Pairings

Home and road opponents revealed by league office for 2019-20
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Atlantic 10 Conference on Wednesday unveiled the league's 2019-20 women's basketball conference pairings. As part of the announcement, Massachusetts will welcome Dayton, Fordham, La Salle, Richmond and VCU to the Mullins Center while also taking on Davidson, Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's in home-and-home series. Additionally, the Minutewomen will travel to face Duquesne, George Mason, George Washington, St. Bonaventure and Saint Louis.
Dates and times for the conference schedule as well as the entirety of the non-conference slate will be announced once finalized.
UMass is coming off of a 2018-19 season in which the program continued to make incredible forward strides, winning more games than any season since 2006-07 and reaching the Atlantic 10 Quarterfinals for the first time since 2005. Rising sophomore Destiney Philoxy was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team last year and rising senior Hailey Leidel currently sits 10th on the all-time program scoring list (1,353 points).
Season ticket renewals are currently underway and account holders can check their email for information on how to renew. Current season ticket holders that renew by Thurs., Aug. 1 will be entered to win a variety of prizes.
New season ticket sales will begin on Tues., Aug. 20 and single-game ticket sales are slated for a Tues., Oct. 1 launch. Season ticket holders are entitled to multiple incentives, including free parking, discounts on future renewals, flexible tickets and a season ticket holder gift (one gift per account).
