Women's Lax Trio Named To IWLCA All-Region Squads

AMHERST, Mass. - After posting banner individual campaigns for the UMass women's lacrosse program, a trio of Minutewomen were honored on Tuesday as selections to the 2019 IWLCA All-Northeast Region squads. Senior Kiley Anderson was a first team pick, while juniors Kaitlyn Cerasi and Stephanie Croke each earned second team honors.

Anderson led UMass (15-4) and the Atlantic 10 in goals scored with 67 which tied the program's single-season mark. Also one of the league's top draw specialists, Anderson was an All-Atlantic 10 First Team selection and a member of the A-10 All-Tournament Team.

Cerasi was also an All-Atlantic 10 First Team member and selection to the A-10 All-Tournament Team after leading UMass in points and assists. One of the top play maker's for the NCAA's third-ranked scoring offense, Cerasi finished the 2019 season by eclipsing the 200-point plateau.

Croke earned A-10 Midfielder of the Year honors for the second consecutive season after posting career-high marks in goals, points, draw controls and caused turnovers.
