Fundraising arm to spearhead improved student-athlete experience and other special initiatives
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts women's basketball announced the launch of the Fastbreak Club on Thursday. Created as the fundraising arm of the Minutewomen, funds generated will facilitate a number of program enhancements centered around student-athlete wellness and development.
"Support from alumni, family and friends is invaluable to enhancing our student-athlete experience and excelling in the classroom and on the court," said head coach Tory Verdi. "All these aspects are necessary to run a program that can compete for Atlantic 10 Conference titles and NCAA Tournament bids. We deeply appreciate the generosity of our supporters and look forward to elevating our program through the Fastbreak Club."
A variety of benefits accompany each level of giving, ranging from personalized newsletters from head coach Tory Verdi to accompanying the Minutewomen on an in-season road trip. Benefitted giving starts at a $100 annual gift. One hundred percent of gifts received will support the UMass women's basketball program.
Complete details on membership can be found by clicking here.
