The University of Massachusetts men's cross country team will head to Oatlands Plantation in Leesburg, Virginia on Saturday morning to race in the Atlantic 10 Championships, an 8K beginning at 10:00 a.m. They will look to improve upon their sixth-place performance from last year's conference championships. The Minutemen rested last weekend coming off of their eighth place finish at the Princeton Invitational. UMass has had two consistent scorers in seniors Erik Engstrom and Dawson Bathgate, with Engstrom earning UMass Athlete of the Week and Bathgate earning A-10 Performer of the Week during the month of October. Graduate transfer Connor Ross has also been a boost to a younger Minutemen squad providing solid scoring this season.
