Siena scored with 14 seconds left in regulation to slip past the UMass women's soccer team 2-1 on Friday afternoon at Rudd Field. Kelly Marra scored a terrific first half goal to give the Minutewomen a 1-0 lead at halftime, but the Saints notched a pair of goals in the second half for the win. UMass held a 14-to-11 shot advantage including a 10-to-3 difference in the second half, but weren't able to capitalize on those chances.
Next Up
UMass will have a week between matches as the Minutewomen head to Delaware next Sunday, Sept. 2 for a 1 PM kickoff.
