Men’s Soccer Ranked In Coaches Poll For First Time Since 2008

UMass entered the poll ranked 25th and are currently on a 10-match unbeaten streak.
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts men's soccer team entered the United Soccer Coaches Poll for the first time since the 2008 season as they were voted 25th in the latest poll released on Tuesday morning.
The Atlantic 10 leader Minutemen (11-2-3 Overall, 5-0-1 A-10) are coming off of two key wins in league play last week, defeating then tied for first-place Rhode Island on Wednesday at home 2-1 before going on the road to pick up a 3-2 win at second-place Dayton on Saturday.
The Minutemen enter the final two matches of the regular season on a 10-match unbeaten streak dating back to a 2-1 win over Colgate on Sept. 16 and are 18-6-5 in their last 29 matches dating back to the 2016 campaign. On their home field this season, UMass owns a 9-0-1 record while outscoring their opponents 23-5 at Rudd Field.
UMass will be back in action on Saturday at George Mason at 7 p.m. before returning home to Rudd Field for the final regular season game of the season on Wed., Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. against Fordham.
