Meet the Freshmen - Taylor Tucker

Get to know one of the newest members of the UMass basketball family.
In our latest installment of the UMass Basketball Get To Know series, the UMass Sports Network sits down with freshman forward Taylor Tucker from Covington, Ga.
Taylor talks about what she enjoys back home in Georgia, here goals for the season and her career, and her start in basketball.
A standout at Redan High School under head coach Jerry Jackson, Taylor was also a member of the Atlanta Celtics travel team. She was the leading scorer in DeKalp county as a junior and was a first-team all-region and a Second-Team All-Georgia selection. In 2014, she led Redan to the Georgia AAAA State Championship title when she also was named an All-DeKalp County pick.

The season will officially start on Friday, Nov. 11 at Buffalo.
