Women's Soccer Heads to Brown, Providence This Week

Minutewomen take on Bears this Thursday, Friars on Sunday.
AMHERST, Massachusetts - Coming off a pair of home matches, the UMass women's soccer heads out on the road for a pair of contests this week. The Minutewomen will head to Brown on Thursday night (7 p.m.) before travelling to Providence on Sunday (6 p.m.).
UMass enters the week with a 2-3-0 record after last Sunday's set-back against Central Michigan which remained undefeated on the year.
Gabriela Kenyon leads the Minutewomen with a pair of goals this year. Rebeca Frisk and Megan Burke each have a goal on the year, while Salma Anastasio leads the squad with two assists.
Cassidy Babin has started all five matches this year with a 2.00 goals-against-average and a 0.697 save percentage.
Brown enters the week with a 3-1-1 overall record and is led by Carly Gould who has two goals and two assists. Christine Etzel has started all five matches with a 0.19 goals-against-average and a 0.957 save percentage.
Providence enters the week with a 4-3-1 record and will play at Central Connecticut on Thursday. The Friars are led by Kathryn Hiller and Juliana Pellegrini who each have three goals and an assist. Kristyn Shea has started all eight matches with a 1.18 goals-against-average and a 0.815 save percentage.
