UMass Head Coach Venechanos on the game against Richmond...
We felt that we had to play defence as a team in the second half because Richmond is a really explosive team. Great program, great team who has two of the best scorers in the country. But we played team defense in the second half and we beat everybody. The draw was huge for us we practiced and we really worked on that and that is why we got more possessions then them we usually come out with good shots. We wanted to limit their shots and we did and we put our shots away. In the first half we did not put them away but had opportunities. This is one of the best games I have ever been a part of.

UMass Head Coach Venechanos on going on the strategy in overtime...
We had confidence in regulation that we were going to get the draw and we wanted to take that shots that we wanted and we were fortunate that we got the ball. Typadis has been feeling it and we wanted to give her opportunities and we wanted to limit their attach having the draws because their attack is so deadly. Krissy Anderson made the huge save at the end. The senior class definitely put the team on their back and everyone followed.

Temple Head Coach Bonnie Rosen on the game against Duquesne...
This is a huge win, our goals for this weekend were to make is through the first game and get to the finals and we have accomplished that. What we did today was a huge victory for us. I think our team is very focused on winning, they play the whole game and we have a very patient group of mature attackers that understand possession and that is one of the reason we end up taking leads. All season long I have been watching Duquesne and they are probably the best on finding the back door pass. We knew about it and they still found it on us and we were just going to have to keep trying to defend it and keeping the ball in our hands so they could not score.

Temple Head Coach Bonnie Rosen on playing UMass in the A-10 finals...
You could not ask for a better atmosphere to be playing UMass at home, it makes for a great A-10 finals, hopefully the fans will be a bit interested in us as they will be in UMass. They are a very tough team and we had a really tough match the first time through and I expect that it is a championship to be won not to be lost.
