AMHERST, Mass. - Senior captain Tracey Drown (Nashua, N.H.), of the women's lacrosse team, named a third-team All-American by womenslacrosse.com, adding a national accolade to the All-Conference and All-Region honors she has already received.

Drown led the team in points with 64 points this season on 47 goals and 17 assists. She also led the team with 19 draw controls, while ranking second on the squad with 26 groundballs. This year, Drown placed second on the UMass single season list for goals scored with 47, and sixth for points scored with 64. Over the course of her UMass career, Drown totaled 81 points on 61 goals and 20 assists.

The Minutewomen posted an overall record of 6-10 in 2004, and placed third in the Atlantic 10 with a 4-3 mark in conference games. UMass also advanced to the semifinals of the Atlantic 10 Tournament.
