Kate Magill joined the University of Massachusetts swimming and diving staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2022. Magill made her return to the Atlantic 10 as a coach after wrapping up her collegiate swimming career at Fordham in 2021.
Magill earned Atlantic 10 Second-Team honors in 2020 and earned a spot on the A-10 Commissioners Honor Roll all four years at Fordham. The Pawtucket, R.I. native was a team captain for the Rams during the 2020-21 season and competed at the conference meet three different times. Magill was also part of the Fordham Athletics Leadership Academy and was a three-time All-American Scholar-Athlete. After wrapping up her collegiate career at Fordham, Magill worked at Johnson and Wales University in the admission’s office and was a head instructor with Pods Swimming.
