Dowiak on Pinkus: Grace was the first player that we identified when we first got to UMass for the 2020 class. She came to one of our ID clinics, right off the bat we felt she was a great fit for our culture, and our personalities as a team and as a staff. It turned out she’s also a phenomenal soccer player; she’s an excellent back to goal target with the ability to score with either foot, and she’s also very strong in the air. She’s also used by her club team in a lot of different roles as a playmaker; as an attacking mid and as a winger sometimes.
