2021-2022 (Sophomore): Competed in the 200 and 400 yard individual medley at the Atlantic 10 Championships (2/16-2/19) where he had season best times of 1:50.74 and 3:56.35… Took home first place in the 200 yard breaststroke with a time of 2:10.74 at the Justin Jennings Invitational (10/9) while also placing second in the 200 individual medley… Had multiple third place finishes throughout the year including; 100 yard breastroke, 100 yard backstroke, and 400 yard medley relay all at the Justin Jennings Invitational as well as the 200 yard individual medley at the Tate Ramsden Invitational (1/21-1/22) and 200 yard breaststroke against BU (10/30).
2020-21 (Freshman): Set a new UMass freshman record and the fourth-fastest time in program history in the 400 IM with a time of 3:56.69 at the Atlantic 10 Championships (4/14-4/17) on his way to a fifth-place finish … Finished 11th overall at the league meet in the 200 IM with the seventh-fastest time in program history (1:50.83) … Runner-up in the 200 Breaststroke at Boston University (3/20) … Added the third-fastest time of the day in the 200 IM at BU … Named the team’s H2O (Hard to Outdo) award winner.
Before UMass: Four-year letterwinner at Williston-Northampton School … Four-time NEPSAC 200 IM Champion and three-time 100 Breaststroke champ … Posted a recent time of 1:52.35 at the 2020 Division 2 NEPSAC Championship … Swam for the Pioneer Valley Aquatic Avengers … Recorded best long course times at the Futures 2019 Championships in the 200 Breast LCM (2:23.92) and 200 IM LCM (2:11.76) … Posted best short course times at the Speedo Winter Junior Nationals with a time of 57.56 in the 100 Breaststroke and 2:05.19 in the 200 Breaststroke.
