Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Regular Season Schedule

AMHERST, Mass – The University of Massachuestts men's soccer program officially announced it's 2026 regular season slate on Thursday. 

The Minutemen will play a 17-game regular season schedule with their home opener coming on Sunday, Aug. 23 against UConn. 

Massachusetts begins the season with two exhibition contests, with the first being at home against Fairfield on Saturday, Aug. 8, followed by a road contest on Friday, Aug. 14 against Siena. 

UMass plays five games in its non-conference schedule at Rudd Field, including the home opener against UConn, and a three-game homestand from Sept. 2-12. The Minutemen will play host to UMass Lowell (Sept. 2), Princeton (Sept. 7), New Hampshire (Sept.12) and Fairleigh Dickinson (Sept. 23). 

The Minutemen complete their non-conference schedule, traveling for seven road games against Bryant (Aug. 20), Harvard (Aug. 28), Stonehill (Sept. 16), Yale (Sept. 19), Vermont (Sept. 29), Cornell (Oct. 6) and Dartmouth (Oct. 13). 

Massachusetts opens the conference slate at Oral Roberts on Oct. 3, before heading back to Rudd Field for the conference home opener against Omaha on Oct. 10. UMass will remain home for a matchup against St. Thomas on Oct. 17, then returns to the road to play Kansas City on Oct. 25. Massachusetts rounds out its regular season slate with a home contest against Delaware on Oct. 31.  

The 2026 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship's exact format, dates, and locations are still TBD, but each team will make the playoffs.
