Massachusetts Track And Field Secures 24 On Outdoor Academic All-MAC Teams

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Univeristy of Massachusetts track and field programs landed a combined 24 student-athletes on the Academic All-MAC Teams, as announced by the Mid-American Conference. 

Alec Carew, Collin Catherwood, Riley Cole, Carson Crump, Jason DeJesus, Aaron Fishler, Aidan Lee, Winston Lewis, Michael Sanchez, Mark Sten and Wlijah Wolinski earned the honors for the men's program. 

Mattie Bishop, Rylee Davis, Jana DeRaedt, Simone Harrison, Ainsley Hileman, Elizabeth Hopkins, Bridget Lee, Anna McElhinney, Leila Metres, Maia Perillo, Eve Segal, Agnes Thundal and Anna Todd landed on the women's program. 

UMass was tied for fifth-most members placed on the team with 24 total.

The Academic All-MAC distinction honors student-athletes who demonstrate outstanding dedication to both their academic and athletic pursuits. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.20 and participate in at least 50% of their team's competitions during the season, or had competed in the MAC Outdoor Championship.
