Massachusetts Men's Lacrosse Alumnus Coltrane Tyson Selected In 2025 NLL Draft

AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts men's lacrosse 2025 graduate Coltrane Tyson was selected during the 2025 National Lacrosse League (NLL) Entry Draft, held virtually on Saturday. Tyson went in the second round, 21st overall to the Buffalo Bandits.
Tyson becomes the fifth member of the Gorillas to be taken in the NLL Draft since 2022, joining Grant Breyo (2024), Zack Kearney (2023), Ryan Sharkey (2022) and Gabriel Procyk (2022). The Burlington, Ontario native is the highest UMass pick in the history of the NLL Draft. A 6-6, 205-pound attack, Tyson played in eight games in his career with the Gorillas.
