Dean and Morris Earn 2025 USA Lacrosse All-American Selection
May 08, 2025 | Women's Lacrosse
AMHERST, Mass. -- University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse defender Jordan Dean and attacker Kassidy Morris each received 2025 USA Lacrosse All-American recognition, the organization announced Thursday afternoon. Dean earned Third Team honors while Morris was named an honorable mention selection.
The honor marks the third career All-American selection for Jordan Dean after a 2025 campaign which saw her start every game on defense while once again dominating the Atlantic 10 in the draw control circle. An All-Conference selection Dean led the A-10 while ranking fifth nationally in draw controls per game (11.00). Continuing to re-write the record books she set the Massachusetts career draw control record, currently totaling 634, just 11 away from the NCAA all-time mark. The Greenbank, Ontario native recorded 23 draw controls against Duquesne, the most by any Division I player since Caitlyn Petro ('21) on April 23, 2021 vs. St. Bonaventure. Having her best season outside of the circle, Dean set career-highs in goals (4), ground balls (27) and caused turnovers (16).
Morris receives her first career All-American honor amid a season in which she ranks fourth nationally in goals (77) and third in shots on goal per game (7.17). The Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of The Year, Morris ranks seventh nationally in points (100) and eighth in points per game (5.56). A three-time A-10 Offensive Player of The Week, Morris set the Massachusetts single-season goal record, passing program legends Kiley Anderson and Sam Rush who each recorded 67. One of the nation's top offensive creators, Morris led the A-10 while ranking third nationally in shots on goal per game (7.17).
Thirty-four schools are represented in this year's list, with North Carolina and Boston College each receiving eight All-American nods.
