Women’s Soccer Reveals 2025 Schedule

The Minutewomen open the season on August 14 against St. John’s at Rudd Field.
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts women's soccer and head coach Jason Dowiak announced the team's 2025 regular season schedule on Thursday afternoon. The Minutewomen will face one team that reached the NCAA Tournament in the fall of 2024, as well as host nine matches at home on Rudd Field, including six Mid-American Conference (MAC) contests.
Prior to the official start of the season, UMass will play two exhibition matches against opponents, including one who appeared in the NCAA Tournament last fall. Exhibition competition will begin at Rudd against Holy Cross on Thursday, August 7, before traveling to UConn on Sunday, August 10.
Massachusetts is scheduled to play six non-conference opponents with three of those contests set to be played at home. UMass kicks off the regular season on Thursday, August 14, welcoming St. John's to Amherst. The Minutewomen then head to Newark, New Jersey, to take on NJIT on Thursday, August 21. Massachusetts then hosts Harvard on Sunday, August 24, before hitting the road for two games. The Minutewomen stop in Hanover, New Hampshire, first on Thursday, August 28 to face Dartmouth, before taking on UMass Lowell on Sunday, August 31, in Lowell, Massachusetts. UMass wraps its out-of-league play with home contest against Boston College on Sunday, September 7.
The Minutewomen begin MAC competition on Sunday, September 14, against Ball State, as part of the six home conference matches. UMass also hosts league foes Northern Illinois on Sunday, September 28, Buffalo on Thursday, October 9, Eastern Michigan on Sunday, October 12 and Ohio on Sunday, October 26. Massachusetts will travel to Akron on Thursday, September 18, Kent State on Thursday, September 25, Western Michigan, who made a first-round appearance in the NCAA Tournament, on Thursday, October 2, Central Michigan on Sunday, October 5, Miami (OH) on Thursday, October 16 and Toledo on Sunday, October 19. The regular season conference slate concludes on Wednesday, October 29, at Rudd Field against Bowling Green.
