Morris Earns Back-To-Back A-10 Offensive Player of The Week Honors

AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts lacrosse attacker Kassidy Morris received Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of The Week honors, the conference announced Monday afternoon. The selection marks the third of the season for Morris and fourth of her career.
Morris led the way for the Minutewomen in a pair of dominant victories totaling 14 points on nine goals and five assists. Morris ended the regular season with eight points on five goals and three assists in a 26-4 win over George Mason. The Washago, Ontario native set the program single-season goal record, passing Kiley Anderson and Sam Rush with her 68th of the season. Morris currently leads the A-10 while ranking top-5 in the NCAA with 70 goals.
Massachusetts heads to Richmond for the A-10 Championship, facing the winner of the No. 4 Richmond/No. 5 St. Bonaventure matchup in the semifinals on Friday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Robins Stadium.
