Massachusetts Women's Track & Field Team Close River Hawk Invitational

BOSTON, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team finished out the weekend as they competed in the River Hawk Invitational on Saturday at the Track at New Balance.
Highlights from Competition:
- Anna McElhinney claimed silver in the women's 5000m, running in a time of 17:07.85. Annika Zuschlag also placed in the top 10, crossing the finish line in 18:02.90 to secure 8th overall.
- Megan Frazee finished third in the women's pole vault with a clearing of "12' 1½." Additionally, Chloe Taylor (5th) and Maia Perillo (8th) rounded out the top 10, each getting over a bar of "11' 7¾."
- Faith Richardson secured the sixth-best time of 7.76 in the women's 60m prelims, later running a 7.73 to finish in fourth in the women's 60m finals.
- Alex Costantino's time of 2:54.88 was good enough for fifth place, with Simone Harrison (8th) grabbing a top-10 finish running in 2:57.59. Salma Boukhtam grabbed a top-20 finish placing 16th overall with a time of 3:01.49.
- The duo of Lillian Kirry (9th) and Caroline Mullady (10th) rounded out the top-10 in the women's 500m, running times of 1:17.51 and 1:17.63 respectively.
- India Ingemi, Lillian Kirry, Alexandria Scott and Faith Richardson combined to run 4:02.90 in the women's 4x400m relay, placing in seventh overall.
- Ali Murphy placed 9th in the 400m dash invitational competing in a time of 57.54.
- Sadai Headley-Mawasi snagged a 13th overall finish running in 25.31.
