Massachusetts Swim And Dive Unveils 2024-25 Schedule

UMass begins its season at home on October 5 at the Joseph R. Rogers Jr Pool against Boston College.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts swimming and diving team unveiled its 2024-25 schedule on Monday morning. The Minutemen and Minutewomen begin their season on Saturday, October 5 with a home meet against Boston College at the Joseph R. Rogers Jr. Pool. The diving events will begin at 11 a.m., before the swim events start at 1 p.m.
UMass will compete in the Justin Jennings Invitational at Colgate on Friday, October 11 through Saturday, October 12. Massachusetts returns home to host Yale on Saturday, October 19, beginning at 1 p.m.
The Minutemen will begin a five-meet road stretch, while the Minutewomen will compete in six away meets. The team will travel to Boston University for a 1:30 p.m. dual meet on Saturday, November 9, before taking part in the Terrier Invitational, hosted by Boston University on Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24. Preliminaries will begin at 10 a.m. on all three days, while the finals start at 6 p.m. The Minutewomen will wrap up the 2024 year with a tri-meet, hosted by Rhode Island, against Rhode Island and La Salle on December 7 at 11 a.m.
Following the holiday break, both teams return to the pool with a road meet against Bryant on Saturday, January 4, with diving starting at 11 a.m. and swimming events beginning at 1 p.m. UMass heads to Dartmouth College for the Tate Ramsden Invitational on Friday, January 17 through Saturday, January 18. Friday's events begin at 5 p.m., with Saturday's events starting at 10 a.m., before 3 p.m. finals.
The swim and dive team travel to Fairfield for a 1 p.m. dual meet on Saturday, January 25 to conclude the road slate. Massachusetts, then, welcomes Fordham to the Joseph R. Rogers Jr. Pool on Saturday, February 1, at 1 p.m. The UMass divers finish the regular season on the road on Saturday, February 8, at the Northeastern Diving Invitational.
The Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships are set for Wednesday, February 19 through Saturday, February 22, at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Virginia. Competition begins with the preliminaries each day at 10 a.m. with the finals at 6:30 p.m.
