Women’s Lacrosse Hires Harbinger As Director Of Player Development

Kendra Harbinger returns to UMass as an assistant coach after being named an IWLCA All-Region selection as a graduate student in 2022.

AMHERST, Mass. University of Massachusetts women's lacrosse head coach Jana Drummond announced the addition of alumnae Kendra Harbinger as the Director of Player Development on Thursday afternoon. Harbinger returns to Amherst on the coaching staff after playing her graduate season with the Minutewomen in 2022.
 
Harbinger earned IWLCA Second-Team All-Region and second-team all-league honors in 2022 after leading Mass in points with 62 and goals with 49. The Inside Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American and all-Atlantic 10 Academic selection joined the Minutewomen after four seasons at UAlbany, where she played both lacrosse and soccer for the Great Danes. Harbinger set the mark for most points in a game for a freshman in 2018 on her way to being named the America East Rookie of the Year and earned all-conference honors in 2019 and 2021.
 
Harbinger received a graduate certificate in global public health from UMass and graduated from UAlbany with a bachelor's degree in human biology with a minor in psychology and sociology.
