University of Massachusetts Hockey Welcomes Forward Cameron Dunn For 2024-25
June 10, 2024 | Hockey
AMHERST, Mass. - University of Massachusetts hockey will welcome 6-2, 170-pound right-shot forward Cameron Dunn to its roster for the 2024-25 season, head coach Greg Carvel announced on Monday. Dunn, a native of Holland, Michigan, joins defensemen Francesco Dell'Elce and Finn Loftus and goaltender James Norton as the fourth member of the Minutemen's incoming freshman class.
"Cam is a well-rounded two-way forward," said Carvel. "He has the skill and ability to put up points while also possessing the frame and mentality to play a hard physical game as well. Cam has a tremendous drive and work ethic, which will allow him to be a great fit with the group immediately."
In two seasons in the North American Hockey League (NAHL), Dunn posted 28 goals and 38 assists for a total of 66 points across 95 career games. While wearing the "A" for the Odessa Jackalopes in 2023-24, Dunn amassed 55 points on 22 goals and 33 assists over 60 contests.
Dunn also played a game for the Austin Bruins and saw action in five contests for the El Paso Rhinos before finishing his NAHL tenure with the Jackalopes.
Before the NAHL, Dunn was a member of the Minnesota Moose of the USPHL Premier League, and registered 77 points (32g, 45a) from 2021-2023. He was named to the USPHL Premier (Midwest West) All-Star team in 2021-2022.
