University Of Massachusetts Men's Track And Field Team Completes Regular Season At UNH

DURHAM, N.H.- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team finished up the regular season at the UNH Pre-Conference Meet on Saturday. The Minutemen were led by Alec Pascoe and Godot Gaskins who won the 400m hurdles and 400m respectively.

Highlights from competition:Â
- Alec Pascoe took gold in the 400m hurdles with a time of 55.69. Chris Scalia and Elijah Wolinski came in third and fourth in the event as well.
- Godot Gaskins won the 400m with his winning time of 47.63. Chris Matthews also had a podium finish by coming in third.
- Owen Mullahy came in second in the 1500m with a time of 3:57.07.
- Three Minutemen came in the top eight of the 100m led Ethan Clark's first place finish. Clark crossed the line at 10.92 while Michael Rodia finished fourth and Will Truncer finished eighth.
- Greg Desrosiers Jr. was the top Minuteman in the 110m hurdles. His time of 16:01 was good for second.
- Colin Kirn snuck onto the podium with a third place finish in the 800m while teammate Nicholas Calitri took sixth. Kirn and Calitri finished with times of 1:53.85 and 1:56.87 respectively.
- Winston Lewis ran a 22.17 second 200m to claim second.
- The Minutemen took the top two spots in the 4x400m relay. The team consisting of Will Truncer, Sean McKay, Alec Pascoe and Chris Scalia earned first with a time of 3:24.21. Winston Lewis, Chris Matthews, Michael Rodia, and John Ferrarelli finished less than a second behind them, crossing the line at 3:24.91 for second.
The Minutemen will head to Fairfax, Virginia next weekend as they compete in the Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday, May 4th and Saturday, May 5th.
