Four Minutewomen Compete On Day One Of UNH Pre-Conference Meet

DURHAM, N.H- A handful of athletes on the University of Massachusetts women's track and field team completed day one of the UNH Pre-Conference Meet on Friday. Three Minutewomen had podium finishes on the day while all four athletes finished in the top eight of their events.

Highlights from competition:

  • Sara Folan finished second in the javelin with a toss of 119' 10" while Evalysse Pierce was behind her in third with a throw of 115' 11".
  • Jaliyah Burns paced UMass in the hammer throw with her mark of 154' 4" which earned her third. Natalie Krysta tied for seventh with a toss of 140' 2" in the event as well
The Minutewomen will continue the UNH Pre-Conference Meet tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
