AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team hosts VCU for Senior Day on Saturday. The Minutewomen and Rams tip off at 1 p.m. in the Mullins Center on NESN+ and ESPN+.

Senior Day
The Minutewomen will celebrate its two seniors on Senior Day ahead of tip-off on Saturday. UMass will recognize graduates Tori Hyduke and Bre Bellamy pregame.

Last Time Out
UMass was defeated by Rhode Island 86-64 on Wednesday in the Mullins Center. Kristin Williams led UMass with 15 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. Alexsia Rose joined Williams in double figures with 13 points to go along with eight assists and zero turnovers while Chinenye Odenigbo finished with a career-high 10 points.

Series History
Saturday's game is the 17th all-time matchup between UMass and VCU dating back to the first contest between the pair during the 1994-95 season. VCU leads the all-time series with a 10-6 record while UMass holds a 3-2 advantage on its home court. The Rams came away with a 65-45 win over the Minutewomen on Dec. 30 in Richmond.

Gimme That
Stefanie Kulesza tied her career-high with eight steals at Fordham on Saturday, ranking fifth-most in a single game in program history. Kulesza first reached the eight steal mark against Loyola Chicago on Jan. 17 and has a team-leading 47 steals on the season. Her nine steals last week ranked eighth-most among DI players while her 4.5 steals per game was 17th and tops in the A-10.

Dishing The Rock
Alexsia Rose finished with eight assists and zero turnovers against Rhode Island on Wednesday to mark the second-most assists in single game for the guard this season. Rose set a new career-best mark in assists in a game with nine against Saint Louis on Jan. 6.

Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza leads the Minutewomen in rebounds per game at 7.0 and ranks seventh among Atlantic 10 leaders in the category. The junior's 183 total rebounds is sixth-most among A-10 players and 115th-most nationally. Kulesza set a career mark with 14 rebounds against both Saint Peter's and UMass Lowell and has surpassed 10 rebounds in five games this season.

Turning Them Over
Among Division I teams last week, UMass ranked 21st in turnovers forced per game at 22 and led the A-10 in the category. The Minutewomen came up with 11.5 steals per game over two games last week to mark the 33rd-most in DI while holding a plus seven advantage in turnover margin.

Looking Ahead
The Minutewomen play their next two games away from home and will take on Loyola Chicago on Wednesday before heading to Washington, D.C. for a matchup at George Washington on Saturday. UMass concludes the regular season on Wednesday, Feb. 28 with a 6 p.m. tip in the Mullins Center against St. Bonaventure.

Atlantic 10 Tournament
The 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship will be held March 6-10 in Henrico, Va. at the new, 3,500-seat Henrico Sports & Events Center. The tournament begins with first round action on Wednesday, March 6 with three games followed by four games on Thursday and Friday.
