Guerin Earns First Career A-10 Weekly Honor

Danielle Guerin tabbed Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week after a successful weekend on the boards.
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Freshman Danielle Guerin tabbed the Atlantic 10 Women's Rookie of the Week honor as announced by the league on Tuesday, after a successful weekend on the boards against two A-10 foes. The weekly accolade marks the first in her career
During a tri-meet at Rhode Island and against La Salle, Guerin posted a personal-best score of 279.45, marking the ninth-best total all-time in program history, in the one-meter dive to take third. She placed third in the three-meter dive, as well, with a personal-best six-dive total of 272.15.
Minutemen diver Andrew Bell will compete at the USA Diving Nationals on December 13 through December 14 in Bloomington, Indiana. He will take part in both the one-meter and three-meter dive.
The one-meter dive occurs on December 13 with the preliminaries starting at 12:15 p.m. and the finals beginning at 6:10 p.m. On December 14, Bell will take part in the three-meter preliminaries at 10 a.m., with the finals taking place at 4 p.m.
The Massachusetts swim and dive program will take a break for the remainder of the 2024 year and return to the pool in the new year on January 4 for a dual meet at Bryant in Smithfield, Rhode Island at 11 a.m.
