Fordham's Second-Half Header Lifts UMass Over Holy Cross

AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts (7-3-4, 2-2-1 A10) fought its way back into the win column on Tuesday, defeating Holy Cross (2-9-3, 1-3-1 PAT) in a 1-0 decision.

Matt Fordham scored his first goal of the 2024 campaign in what would be the eventual game-winner in the 60^th minute off a corner kick from Johan Feilscher. Alex Geczy bounced back from Saturday's loss with his sixth clean sheet of the year, as the UMass defense held the Crusaders without a shot on goal for the full 90 minutes.
