Massachusetts Men's Track & Field Compete At The TRACK At New Balance

BOSTON, Mass.- The University of Massachusetts men's track and field team hosted the UMass Flagship Indoor Invitational at the TRACK at New Balance on Sunday. Joachim Ennoo led the Minutemen for the second meet in a row as the grad student placed first in the triple jump with a jump of 49' 1" which is the second best mark in school history.Â

Will Kenney's 1000m time of 2:25.64 secured him second place and is the third fastest time in school history.Â

Nasir Perry took fifth in 60m hurdles with a time of 8.22, just .02 seconds off his personal best.

Robert Carew set a new personal record in the mile with a time of 4:20.75.

Ennoo and Michael Harden placed sixth and seventh in the long jump with marks of 22' 11.75" and 22' 9.75" respectively.

Emmanuel Simon finished eighth in the triple jump with a personal best jump of 42' 3.5".
The Minutemen will be back in action as they head back east to Boston to compete in the Battle In Beantown hosted by BU on Saturday, January 20th.
