AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team wraps up its two-game road trip on Saturday at La Salle. The Minutewomen and Explorers tip off at Tom Gola Arena at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

Last Time Out
UMass fell to league leader Richmond on the road Wednesday by a score of 79-65. Kristin Williams led the Minutewomen with a tied for career-best 19 points, including seven straight in 74 seconds to start the second half that saw UMass take a 36-35 lead. Alexsia Rose joined Williams in double figures with 13 points to go along with a team-leading four assists while Stefanie Kulesza added 12 points and eight rebounds.

Series History
Saturday's game marks the 37th all-time meeting between the Minutewomen and the Explorers dating back to the first matchup during the 1985-86 season. UMass leads the all-time series 22-14 and holds a 9-8 record on La Salle's home court. The Minutewomen have won five straight in the series with the last defeat coming on Feb. 19, 2017 at home.

Heating Up
Kristin Williams tied her career-high in scoring with 19 points on Wednesday at Richmond, including seven straight to open the second half. The guard has eclipsed double figures in five of her last six games and is averaging 15.3 points per game during the span. On the season, Williams has reached 10 or more points in nine games and is averaging a team-best 14.8 points per game in A-10 play.

Crashing The Boards
Stefanie Kulesza leads the Minutewomen with 8.3 rebounds per game while ranking third in the A-10 in the category. Kulesza's 132 total rebounds also ranks third in the league and among the top-50 nationally in the category.

Settling In
Alexsia Rose tied her career-high in scoring with 18 and set a new career-best mark in assists in a game with nine with just one turnover against Saint Louis on Saturday. Rose knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and went 8-of-11 from the free throw line. Over the last two games, Rose is averaging 15.5 points, 6.5 assists, and 2.0 steals. The senior returned from injury on Dec. 10 against UMass Lowell and has been in the starting lineup for all three of UMass' A-10 games.

UMass returns to the Mullins Center next on Wednesday, January 17 for a 6 p.m. tip against Loyola Chicago. The Minutewomen play a nationally televised game at home on Sunday, Jan. 21 against George Mason on CBS Sports Network.
