Women’s Lacrosse Earns NCAA At-Large Bid, Faces Johns Hopkins In Syracuse

UMass and Johns Hopkins begin NCAA Tournament play on Friday at 2 p.m. in Syracuse, N.Y.
AMHERST, Mass. – The no. 13-nationally ranked Massachusetts women's lacrosse team secured an at-large bid to the 2023 NCAA Women's Lacrosse Championship on Sunday evening and will head to Syracuse, N.Y. to take on Johns Hopkins in first round action on Friday, May 12 at 2 p.m. The Minutewomen finished the regular season with an unbeaten 9-0 record in Atlantic 10 play and head into the national tournament with a 16-2 record.
The winner of Friday's game will advance to the second round and take on no. 2-overall seed Syracuse on Sunday, May 14 at 3 p.m. with a spot in the quarterfinals on the line.
