AMHERST, Mass. - The University of Massachusetts women's basketball team hosts Harvard on Thursday for a 6 p.m. tip-off inside the Mullins Center. The game between the Minutewomen and Crimson will also be broadcast live on NESN+ and ESPN+.
Series History
Thursday's meeting with the Crimson marks the 25th all-time meeting between UMass and Harvard with the Minutewomen holding a 14-10 lead in a series that began during the 1977-78 season. The teams met twice last year, with UMass picking up a 77-67 win at Harvard in November before the Crimson came away with an 89-87 win in Amherst in the WNIT Second Round.
Last Time Out
Stefanie Kulesza scored 11 of her team-leading 15 points in the fourth quarter as the Minutewomen fell on the road to Maine on Sunday, 69-48. Bre Bellamy reached double figures in the scoring department for the second consecutive game as she chipped in 11 points on 5-of-9 from the field.
Crashing The Boards
Junior forward Stefanie Kulesza ranks second in the Atlantic 10 and 41st nationally in total rebounds with 35 on the season. Kulesza reached a career-high in rebounds with 14 in the season opening win over Saint Peter's on her way to her first career double-double. The forward reached double figures in rebounds at Northeastern with 11, including five on the offensive glass.
Minutewomen In Double Figures
UMass has three players averaging double figures in scoring, led by 12.7 points per game from Stefanie Kulesza. Kristin Williams is averaging a career-best 12.3 points per game to join Kulesza while Bre Bellamy is up to a 10.3 points per game average after surpassing 10 points in the last two contests.
Looking Ahead
UMass plays its next six games away from home, beginning with a 2 p.m. tipoff on Sunday at Monmouth. The Minutewomen then head to Cancun, Mexico for three neutral site games at the Cancun Challenge and conclude the road stretch with games at Yale on Dec. 1 and at Boston College on Dec. 6.

The Minutewomen are averaging 6.7 made 3-pointers per game led by 2.3 per contest from Kristin Williams. Williams ranks among the top-25 in DI in made 3-pointers and is second in the A-10. Additionally, all eight Minutewomen that have appeared in games this season have knocked down at least one shot from behind the arc with the team shooting 33-percent collectively.
Forwards Stefanie Kulesza and Bre Bellamy are combining for 17.0 rebounds per game between the duo and have hauled in a total of 51 on the season. Kulesza leads the way with 9.7 boards per game while Bellamy is adding 7.3 per contest.
South of the Border
UMass will play three games from Nov. 23-25 in Riviera Maya, Mexico as part of the 2023 Cancun Challenge. The Minutewomen begin MTE play with Green Bay on Nov. 23 at 1:30 p.m. and follow with Washington State the next day at 11 a.m. UMass concludes the tournament with a matchup no. 14-ranked Maryland on Nov. 25 at 11 a.m.
