Petrovich Concludes 2022 NCAA Zone 1 Qualifying Meet

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — Massachusetts junior, Emma Pretrovich finished 44th on one-meter springboard at the NCAA Division I Women's Diving Zone A Championships, Monday at Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Md.
Petrovich performed six dives totaling 229.70 points on the day to finish in 44th place. Petrovich's third dive in the preliminary round was her highest scoring dive. The junior performed an inward 2 somersault tuck for a score of 47.60, while her first dive was a strong 44.60 on a forward 2 ½ somersault pike.
During this week's three-day meet, the top 18 from prelims each day qualify for evening finals. The top five combined scored from prelims and finals in one-meter diving qualify for the 2022 NCAA Division I Women's Swimming & Diving Championships.
The divers represented schools from Virginia, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Maryland, Delaware, and District of Columbia.
