Three New All-TIme UMass Track & Field Marks Set On Day Two Of Raleigh Relays

Three Minutemen and seven Minutewomen were in action on the day.

RALEIGH, N.C. – On day two of the Raleigh Relays, University of Massachusetts saw three top-five all-time marks set on the women's side, while two men finished in the top-20 of their events among a talented field on Friday. Three Minutemen and seven Minutewomen were in action on the day.
 
Emily McDonald was the top UMass finisher, taking eighth in triple jump with a mark of 39 feet, 8.75 inches, good for fifth in the program's record book.
 
In 100 meter hurdles, Sarah Yocum ran 14.17 seconds to 24th at the meet and fourth all-time in UMass history.
 
Lily Robinson ran the fifth-fastest 5,000 meter time in program history, clocking in at 17 minutes, 5.67 seconds to place 99th.
 
On the men's side, Lucas Honohan was 16th in 400 meter dash with a time of 47.93 seconds, while Colin Stoddard followed in 32nd (49.30). Zach Lefever claimed 19th in 3,000 meter steeplechase at 9 minutes, 0.82 seconds.
 
In women's high jump Elizabeth Lodge cleared 5 feet, 5 inches to take 12th. UMass' other results on the day included Grace Poku taking 47th in 100 meter dash (12.38) and Colette O'Leary (4:40.36, 159th) and Eugenia Fairhurst (4:45.35, 191st) running the 1,500m.
 
The meet win conclude tomorrow, March 26, with UMass' first event of the day going off at 10;30 a.m.
