Last Time Out
The Minutemen battled #24 Saint Louis in a 3-2 loss on Saturday in the Atlantic 10 opener at Rudd Field. James McPherson gave UMass a 1-0 lead with a headed in goal in the 44th-minute off an assist from Andrew Ortiz before the Billikens tied it up in the final moments of the first half. Filippo Begliardi Ghidini put home his third goal of the season in the 79th-minute with a shot off a low cross from Alec Hughes to put UMass up 2-1 before two Saint Louis goals brought the score to a 3-2 final.

The Opponents
UMass Lowell comes into Tuesday's match with a 1-5-1 overall record after falling to NJIT 2-1 in their America East opener on Saturday in New Jersey. Borna Miklic has scored a team-leading two goals for the River Hawks while Reziq Banihani and Sancho Maroto Tobias have each added goals. Christian Miesch has started all seven games for the River Hawks with 16 saves and a shutout. Saint Joseph's holds a 2-5 record coming off a 3-1 win over George Mason in their Atlantic 10 opener on Friday. The Hawks have had eight different players score goals on the season while Aidan Watkins has dished out a team-leading two assists.

Minutemen Among A-10 Leaders
Joe Leslie is tied for fourth in the Atlantic 10 in goals on the season as he leads the Minutemen with four to go along with two game-winning goals to rank second in the league. Yosuke Hanya ranks fifth in the A-10 in assists with three after picking up another on Wednesday in the win over Dartmouth. Marvyn Dorchin ranks tied for third in save percentage at .750 and ranks fourth in goals against average.

Looking Ahead
The pair of road matches this week marks the start of a four-game road trip for the Minutemen. UMass breaks from A-10 play on Tuesday, Sept. 28 for a road match at Yale then resumes league play on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Dayton.
