Last Time Out
The Minutemen came up with a pair of shutout wins at home last week, first with a 2-0 win over Hofstra on Wednesday led by goals from Graham Brenner and James McPherson while Marvyn Dorchin finished with six saves in goal. On Sunday, UMass shutout UAlbany 3-0 as Eli Cronin opened up the scoring with a first half goal before Alec Hughes connected with both Tyler Mann and Filippo Begliardi Ghidini on separate goals in the second half.

Defensive Player of the Week
Senior goalkeeper Dorchin was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career on Monday afternoon. Dorchin finished Wednesday's game with six saves while the UMass defense allowed just two shots in the win over UAlbany, with one on target that was saved.

Three Straight Clean Sheets
UMass has come up with three clean sheets to open up the season for the second consecutive season as the Minutemen accomplished the feat to start off the 2019 campaign. It marks just the third time since 1996 that the Minutemen have shutout three straight opponents to start.

Schedule Updates
The Minutemen were originally scheduled to host Fordham in the A-10 opener this weekend but has since been moved. The game will now be played on Wednesday, March 24 at 5:30 p.m. on McGuirk.
