Men’s Soccer Receives United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

The Minutemen finished the 2019-20 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or above for the sixth consecutive year.
AMHERST, Mass. – The University of Massachusetts men's soccer team received a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award this week after finishing the 2019-20 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.
The academic award marks the sixth straight year that the Minutemen have been recognized by United Soccer Coaches for their work in the classroom. UMass has been selected to the team award list seven times in the last eight years and sixth time under head coach Fran O'Leary. The Minutemen finished the 2020 spring semester with a 3.79 team GPA and posted a 3.59 team GPA during the 2019-20 academic year.
