Massachusetts Football Announces National Signing Day Show Details

UMass Athletics will host an hour-long show covering the football signing class on Wed., Feb. 5
AMHERST, Mass. – University of Massachusetts football will host its annual National Signing Day Show in the Mullins Center's Massachusetts Room on Wed., Feb. 5 from 1-2 p.m. The hour-long show will be available live on NESN and NESNgo throughout New England and will also be available digitally free of charge outside of New England via UMass All-Access.
Director of Athletics Ryan Bamford, head coach Walt Bell and members of Bell's coaching staff will join show co-hosts Jay Burnham and Andy Gresh for discussion on the football program and its 2020 signing class. Fans wishing to submit a question to Bamford or Bell for potential inclusion in a segment of the signing day show can do so through an online submission form here.
Massachusetts officially welcomed 19 signees during the December Early Signing Period. It included Tristan Armstrong, Josh Atwood, Aaron Beckwith, Dominik Behrens, Jared Cole, Onuma Dieke, Taishan Holmes, Joe Horn, Gerrell Johnson, Cody Jones, Hugo Klages, Will Koch, Kyle Lindquist, Nahji Logan, Reggie Marks III, Ellis Merriweather, Ethan Mottinger, Te'Rai Powell and Sammy Solomon. Information on additional signees will be available as NLIs are confirmed by the UMass Athletics Compliance Office.
Massachusetts opens its 2020 season at UConn on Thurs., Sept. 3. The Minutemen host their first of six home games at McGuirk Alumni Stadium against Troy on Sat., Sept. 12. UMass also hosts Albany (Sat., Sept. 19), Temple (Sat., Oct. 10), FIU (Sat., Oct. 24), New Mexico State (Sat., Nov. 7) and Army West Point (Sat., Nov. 21).
UMass Athletics will begin accepting season ticket deposits on Wed., Feb. 5 in conjunction with the National Signing Day Show. Season ticket packages will be available for purchase beginning on the day of the 2020 Spring Game.
