Saturday's Football Game vs. Eastern Michigan is Sold Out

AMHERST, Mass. – Massachusetts football's 3:30 p.m. game against Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Oct. 3, is sold out.
While tickets for the general public are soldout, student tickets remain with the same first come, first served entry process in place beginning with gates opening at 2 p.m.
Tailgating
To help maintain a safe and secure environment at McGuirk Alumni Stadium, UMass Athletics has implemented a clear bag policy that limits the size and type of bags permitted inside the venue. The following bags are permitted:

The 4-0 (1-0 MAC) Minutemen host the Eagles (2-3, 1-0 MAC) in a matchup of unbeaten conference teams as part of the University's Family Weekend. It will mark the first sellout since Sept. 27, 2014 when the Minutemen played Bowling Green in front of a crowd of 17,000.
Fans attending the game are encouraged to plan ahead and review the following parking and gameday information before arriving on campus:UMass Student Information
- Full-time UMass undergraduate students will continue to receive free admission to the game with their 2026-27 Student Access Pass. Students are strongly encouraged to arrive early due to the anticipated crowd. Gates at McGuirk Alumni Stadium will open at 2 p.m. for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
- Students should have their Student Access Pass downloaded to their Apple or Google Wallet prior to arriving at the stadium and enter through the designated Student Entrance. Student seating is located in Sections 9 and 10 on the west side of McGuirk Alumni Stadium and Sections 19 and 20 on the east side.
- Traditional football gameday parking lots surrounding McGuirk Alumni Stadium have reached full capacity for Saturday's game.
- Fans without a pre-purchased parking pass may purchase parking in the green space behind the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex for $45, or park complimentary in Lots 26, 31 and 68.
- Parking passes for the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex grass area are available for purchase online (see map). A game ticket must be purchased to purchase a parking pass. No parking will be sold on the day of the game.
- Parking in Lots 26, 31 and 68 is free of charge, with no parking pass required. Courtesy shuttle service to and from McGuirk Alumni Stadium will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue for one hour after the game.
- Football parking lots open at 11:30 a.m. Parking or standing on roads before lots open is prohibited.
- Fans are reminded that traffic patterns have been adjusted for the 2026 season and are strongly encouraged to review the traffic pattern for their assigned parking lot before traveling to McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
- Fans parking in the the Gladchuk Field Hockey Complex grass area must enter from North Hadley Road or Massachusetts Avenue. There is no entry to this parking areas from Rocky Hill Road or University Drive.
- University Drive will operate as one-way northbound traffic only.
- Fans with pre-purchased parking passes should have their passes downloaded to their digital wallets and ready to scan upon arrival.
- With a capacity crowd expected, fans should allow additional time for traffic, parking and entry into McGuirk Alumni Stadium.
Tailgating
- Tailgating is permitted beginning at 11:30 a.m. when parking lots open. Postgame tailgating is permitted for up to 90 minutes following the game.
- Fans are reminded that vehicles and tailgating activities may occupy only one parking space and the area directly behind or in front of the vehicle. Roadways and fire lanes must remain clear at all times.

- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags no larger than 14" x 6" x 14"
- Small clutch bags no larger than 5" x 8" (not required to be clear)
- All other bags are prohibited, but exceptions will be made for medically necessary items and diaper bags or other childcare-related bags, which are subject to inspection upon entry
- There will be no storage available for prohibited bags
