AMHERST, Mass. -- Massachusetts football hosts Miami (OH) to McGuirk Alumni Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 10, for a 2 p.m. kickoff for Homecoming Weekend. The game will be streamed on ESPN+.

SERIES HISTORY
- In a series dating back to 2012, Massachusetts and Miami (OH) have met six times with the RedHawks holding a 5-1 series advantage.
- Quarterback A.J. Doyle led UMass with 249 passing yards and two touchdowns in that victory.
- Massachusetts' win in the series came on October 12, 2013, when the Minutemen posted a 17-10 victory against the RedHawks at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts.
- That game in 2023 will be remembered as the Lightning Game as it took nearly six hours to complete due to a pair of severe weather delays in what was the UMass home opener that season.
- Miami (OH) has a 2-0 record at McGuirk Alumni Stadium overall, with the most recent win in Amherst coming on Sept. 9, 2023, by a score of 41-28.
