Boric Tabbed Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference For Second Time

Maja Boric earned her second straight academic all-conference award after claiming a gold and a silver at the league meet.

AMHERST, Mass. – Maja Boric was named Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference for the second consecutive year as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon. Boric (Zagreb, Croatia) earned the academic all-conference nod after picking up the gold in the 1-Meter Dive at the Atlantic 10 Championship while adding a silver on the 3-Meter board.
 
The junior won the 1-Meter Dive six times during the year while adding three wins in the 3-Meter to go along with six runner-up finishes on her way to qualifying for the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships for the second straight year. At the zones, Boric posted the sixth-highest average round score in the finals of the 1-Meter Dive to propel her to seventh-place from ninth on her way to earning an invite to the NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships.
 
Boric will begin competition at the national meet tomorrow afternoon at 12:30 with the preliminaries of the 1-Meter Dive.
