Doc Hosea Regatta Next for UMass Rowing

CAMDEN, N.J. – After opening its Spring 2018 schedule last weekend at the Cooper Sprints, University of Massachusetts rowing returns to Camden, New Jersey on Sat., March 31 for the Doc Hosea Regatta. In addition to competing once again against Navy and Atlantic 10 rival Rhode Island, the Minutewomen will be joined Saturday by Boston University, Cornell, Dartmouth, No. 15 Indiana, No. 20 Minnesota, Northeastern, Penn, Rutgers and No. 14 Syracuse.

Results will be available on Row2k.com and fans can also follow @DocHoseaInvite on Twitter throughout the regatta for live updates.

Saturday's forecast shows sunny skies in the Camden area with a high temperature of 58 degrees. Rain is not expected and winds will be out of the Southwest at 12 MPH.

Alumnae Weekend
All UMass rowing alumnae are invited to attend the program's third annual Alumnae Day on Sun., April 29 at the UMass Boathouse. Head coach Jim Dietz is looking forward to getting everyone back on the water and invites all UMass rowing alumnae to visit and spend time reconnecting with former teammates. The schedule for the day includes an optional morning row before a casual alumnae gathering at the Dietz residence around noon. The event will then return to the boathouse where lunch will be provided and three honored guest speakers will share their experience at UMass with current members of the Minutewomen rowing team.
