Spring 2019: Had a third place effort (6:52.277) in the Third Varsity Eight at the Dad Vail Regatta (5/11) ... Won the Quad at the Knecht Cup (4/14), finishing with a time of 7:27.76 which was over 10 seconds faster than second place Harvard ... Also at the Knecht Cup, reached the 2V8 Grand Final and clocked in fourth (7:06.17) ... Was less than two seconds (7:46.86) behind Temple for first place in the 3V8 Petite Final at the Doc Hosea Regatta (3/30) ... Second of six crews (7:48.95) in the V4 Petite Final, finishing behind only Oklahoma at the Cooper Sprints (3/24).

Fall 2018: Tabbed 26th (20:00.406) in the Championship Eights at the Head of the Charles (10/21) ... Fourth (18:38.5) in the Doubles at the Hadley Chase Regatta (10/13) ... Took second in the Collegiate 2x B Final (8:04.41) at the Small Boat Challenge (10/7).
AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18
Spring 2018: Wrapped up the Spring season with participation in the Single at the Dad Vail Regatta (5/12) during which she finished sixth (8:42.640) ... Claimed third in the Varsity Four Petite Final (7:52.91) at the Doc Hosea Regatta (3/31) ... Reached the Varsity Four Grand Final at the Cooper Sprints (3/25), placing fourth (8:50.84).
Fall 2017: Took silver in the Second Varsity Eight (12:40.84) at the Head of the Fish (10/28) ... Participated in the 1x at the Hadley Chase (10/14) and Small Boat Challenge (10/7-10/8).
AS A SOPHOMOREÂ IN 2016-17
Spring 2017: Raced in the Second Varsity 4+ at the Knecht Cup (4/8), taking seventh in the final (8:06.17) ... Raced the Varsity 4+ to first place at the Murphy Cup (3/25, 7:57.70).
Fall 2016: Competed at the Collegiate Small Boat Challenge (11/5) in the 2x.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16
Spring 2016: Competed in the Varsity 4+ and tallied a 6:57.6 finish in the season home opener against Atlantic 10 conference rival Rhode Island (3/26) ... Tallied first in the Varsity 4+ in a dual regatta at Connecticut with a time of 7:47.8 Also claimed a first place win in the Second Varsity 4+ with a time of 8:05.09 (4/2) ... Stroked the Second Varsity 4+ at the inaugural Doc Hosea Regatta in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (4/3) ... Took home a bronze medal in the Grand Final of the Novice 4+ at the Knecht Cup with a time of 8:00.14 (4/10) ... Finished fourth in the Second Varsity 4+ with a time of 8:05.1 at the Four-School Regatta on the Charles River between Northeastern, Boston University and Dartmouth (4/17).
Fall 2015: Sat four seat in the UMass A boat at the Green Monster and finished ninth in a field of 14 competitors with a time of 19:19.6. UMass A crossed the line in the middle of the pack and fell just short to A-10 rival Rhode Island who finished eighth with a time of 19:08.3. UMass, Boston College, Dartmouth, MIT, Rhode Island and Vermont made up the 14-boat field of competition (11/8) ... Teamed up with Natalie Boisvert and Pippa Edwards at the Seven Sisters Sculling Regatta in a unique 3x boat and took first place over Tufts with a time of 18:21.3 ... Later that afternoon Garvey claimed second place in the 2x alongside Hannah McCollough (10/11).
BEFORE UMASS: Member of the Sacred Heart Rowing Association ... Rowed for Vesper in summer 2014 where she competed at the Club Nationals and the Canadian Henley ... Has also competed in the 1x at the 2014 Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts, an event that UMass competes in during the fall rowing season ... Is a member of the National Honor Society.
