Minutewomen Sweep 3-Meter Dive On Final Day Of A-10 Championships

Maja Boric led a trio of Minutewomen divers to a podium sweep in the 3-Meter Dive with a score of 328.70.
GENEVA, Ohio – The University of Massachusetts women's swimming and diving team swept the 3-Meter Dive on the final day of the Atlantic 10 Swimming and Diving Championships at the Spire Institute on Saturday night as the Minutewomen finished in sixth with 355.5 points.

Maja Boric led a trio of Minutewomen in the podium sweep in the 3-Meter Dive on her way to gold with a top score of 328.70, the third-highest mark in program history. Defending 3-Meter Champion Emma Roush took second with a mark of 321.95 after winning the 1-Meter Dive last night for the fourth-straight year while Katie Polk finished third with a score of 295.85.

Ansley Baker tied her own UMass program record in the 100 Free on her way to a fourth-place finish with a time of 50.30. Mariam Labib followed with the second-fastest time at UMass with a mark of 50.65 to finish seventh as the Minutewomen picked up 27 points in the event.

Kelly Malyszka opened the final session in the 1,650 Free, finishing sixth with a time of 17:04.14 that ranks third-fastest in the UMass record books.

Stephanie Judge picked up her own top-five program time as she finished fourth in the 200 Fly consolation with a time of 2:04.56 to grab five points.

The Minutewomen wrapped up competition in the 400 Free Relay with a time off 3:23.28 set by Labib, Baker, Hayley Masi and Paige Mitchell, just missing out on the UMass program record in the relay by .07 seconds.
