Men's Soccer Earns 2015-16 NSCAA College Team Academic Award

Minutemen honored after posting 3.10 team grade-point-average last year.
UMass was one of 315 men's program's in the nation to earn the award and one of just 223 schools to have both its men's and women's programs honored.

A total of 893 soccer teams (315 men, 578 women) from throughout the United States have earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2015-16 academic year. Among these programs are 223 schools receiving honors for both their men and women's teams.
To qualify for the award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the entire academic year. The team GPA is determined by adding every player's GPA, then dividing by the number of players.
